Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Custodia (the project's working name, hereinafter "Custodia", "we") is currently a project under development, without an incorporated company yet. For as long as this is the case, the party responsible for the service is Eric Alcantud, in a personal capacity, as the project's promoter. These terms will be updated as soon as a legal entity exists.

1. Purpose of the service

Custodia is a support tool for companies to organize their compliance process under the EU Artificial Intelligence Regulation (AI Act): inventory of AI tools, risk classification, documentation generation and internal training. Custodia does not replace professional legal advice: the risk classification and the generated documents are indicative help, and final responsibility for regulatory compliance rests with your company.

2. Account and use of the service

  • You must provide truthful information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for the activity that takes place under your account and for the confidentiality of your password.
  • You may not use Custodia for unlawful purposes, nor attempt to access data of organizations other than your own.

3. Plans and payments

Some plans include a free trial period. When the trial period ends, if you continue using a paid plan, you will be charged according to the current rate of the plan you chose. Payments are processed through an external provider (Stripe); Custodia does not store your card details. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing panel.

4. Availability of the service

As this is a project under active development, the service may experience occasional interruptions, changes or improvements without prior notice. We will do our best to give advance notice of changes that significantly affect the use of the service.

5. Ownership of your data

The data you enter in Custodia (employees, tools, use cases, generated documents) is yours. See our Privacy Policy to learn how we process it.

6. Limitation of liability

Custodia is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the risk classification or the generated documents are exhaustive or free of errors, and we accept no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of this tool without professional review where the case requires it.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will publish the date of the latest update here.
